What was the highlight of Spice Village Thekkady - a CGH Earth Experience
„Schöne Anlage, in Ordnung für einen Zwischenstopp. Insgesamt fanden wir Thekkady und den Periyar-Nationalpark überbewert
Es handelt sich um eine sehr schöne und gepflegte Anlage mit reetgedeckten Bungalows in verschiedener Größe. Unser Bungalow war sehr geräumig mit getrennten Wohn- und Schlafzimmer und etwas altmodisch aber gut ausgestattet. Insgesamt kann man die Anlage empfehlen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Wir waren in der Nebensaison da. Vielleicht war das der Grund, dass das Personal nicht so richtig auf Zack war.
Wir hatten einen großen Bungalow für drei Personen gebucht und baten bei der Reservierung bereits um ein Zustellbett. Bei unserer Ankunft war das Bett noch nicht aufgebaut. Wir baten nochmals explizit darum, dass das Bett im Wohnraum aufgebaut wird. Als wir später wieder in unseren Bungalow kamen, war das Bett im Schlafzimmer aufgebaut. Auch waren nur Gläser, Tassen, Bademantel etc. nur für zwei Personen vorhanden, niemand hatte daran gedacht, die Utensilien für die dritte Person zu ergänzen. Der Pool ist bis 19:00 Uhr geöffnet. Wir kamen gegen 18:30 Uhr und schwammen, während der Bademeister um uns herum aufräumte und schließlich am Beckenrand demonstrativ wartete. Um 18:50 Uhr wies er uns nicht wirklich freundlich darauf hin, dass der Pool schließen würde. Ähnlich ging’s uns beim Abendessen. Das Personal stand um unseren Tisch herum und wartet nur darauf, dass wir mit dem Essen fertig werden. Noch während wir den Hauptgang aßen wurden wir nach Nachtisch gefragt. Als wir verneinten, kam sofort die Rechnung. Wir hätten gerne noch etwas getrunken. Auf dem Gelände findet sich eine nette Bar, sie schließt aber gleichzeitig mit dem Restaurant um 22 Uhr.
